רד סבסטיאן נבחר אמש לייצג את בלגיה באירוויזיון 2025 עם השיר Strobe Lights. סבסטיאן נמצא כרגע במקום הראשון בטבלת ההימורים לקראת התחרות שתתקיים במאי הקרוב בבאזל, כשמיד אחריו הנציגה הישראלית יובל רפאל, אחרי שזכתה בגמר "הכוכב הבא לאירוויזיון". סבסטיאן ניצח בקדם הבלגי את ילה ואן דאל, יוצאת ההרכב האלקטרוני המיתולוגי לאסגו. הוא קיבל 132 מתוך 585 נקודות אפשריות מהשופטים, ו-291 נקודות מהצבעת הקהל, וזכה עם סך של 423 נקודות. במקום השני הייתה LEEZ עם 144 נקודות, ואחריה מנטיסה עם 131 נקודות.
סבסטיאן בן ה-25, שנולד עם השם ספ הרמאנס, פרץ לתודעה הבלגית כשהשתתף ב-2013 ב-Belgium's Got Talent כשהיה בן 14. לפני כשנה השתתף בריאליטי Sing Again, שמתמקדת במתן הזדמנות שנייה לזמרים וזמרות. עכשיו כאמור השתתף וניצח בקדם הבלגי עם השיר Strobe Lights, עד כדי כך שהוא מוביל טבלאות ההימורים ונכון לעכשיו המתחרה הישיר של יובל רפאל.
